Over 70 miles of fiber have been constructed since May!
We have installed internet service for several test customers in Zone 1. The installations went well, and we will continue to monitor the connections to ensure that we have a quality product when service is officially available to all.
The third and fourth fiber huts have been set at Mixon and Pancras substations and will provide internet service to Tri-County EMC members in Zones 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10. If you are pre-registered and unsure of which Zone you are in, visit connect.tri-cogo.com, and click on Service Areas for a detailed service map and projected build-out schedule. If you cannot find your address there, email info@tri-cogo.com with your name and address and someone from our team will be happy to assist. Conexon plans to have the necessary electronics installed in the fiber huts by mid-October.
What’s next?
Pre-registered customers in Zone 1 should watch for an email announcing that service is available in their area. In the email, there will be detailed instructions on how to initiate your account and begin the service installation process. In the meantime, we will continue the fiber build-out and look forward to bringing fast internet to your area!

I’d like to know the designated Zone for Madison Road, Eatonton, GA.
As of right now, your area does not have a designated Zone because we have not released a Phase 2 schedule yet. Once we release that schedule, you will be able to determine your zone and when service is expected in your area.
