Residential Lifeline

Lifeline is a federal program that provides a monthly discount of $9.25 for internet service or bundled voice and internet service to eligible low-income consumers. Lifeline is limited to one benefit per household. You can only use Lifeline for either cellular or landline service, but not both. To get the Lifeline discount with your Tri-CoGo service, you need to first apply for and be certified, before contacting us about the discount. When you contact us, we will need to verify that you are not already receiving Lifeline service from another provider (cellular or landline), before applying the discount.

How To Qualify

You must participate in at least one of the following programs to be eligible for a Lifeline Program discount:
  • Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
  • Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
  • Medicaid
  • Federal Public Housing Assistance (FPHA)
  • Veterans Pension and Survivors Benefit
  • Tribal Programs (and live on federally-recognized Tribal lands)
Visit the Qualify Online link found below to see if you qualify.

**Some restrictions and conditions apply. Does not include taxes and surcharges. Only eligible consumers may enroll in Lifeline. Documentation is necessary for enrollment. The Lifeline benefit expires after 12 months. To renew a Lifeline benefit, the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) will send you a notice to recertify. View their website for more information: checklifeline.org/lifeline. Lifeline discount is only applicable if Tri-CoGo service is available at the address.
